Get lightning-fast charging at home with our state-of-the-art electric vehicle chargers – professional installation included.
As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, there is a growing need for at-home vehicle charging solutions. Having a reliable home charging station is key to ensuring your vehicle is always ready to go with a full charge. In addition, most EV owners experience the inconvenience of slower chargers that aren't fit for their vehicle, taking more time out of their day charging instead of being on-the-road.
At-home EV charging offers faster, more reliable charging than standard outlets, lower energy costs compared to public chargers, and the convenience of charging your vehicle at the comfort of your home.
At 1Click, our licensed electricians offer professional, safe, and code-compliant EV charger installations of some of the top automotive brands tailored to your home's unique electrical setup. Plus, with available incentives and rebates, upgrading your home with an EV charging station has never been easier.
Here are some reasons why at-home electric vehicle charging is the future.

When it comes to installing chargers at home, you have two options: Level 1 and Level 2 chargers. Each type of charger offers different benefits, and the right one for you will depend on your needs, electrical system, and the speed at which you want to charge your electric vehicle.
Many homes with existing electrical systems can accommodate a Level 2 charger, but older homes with limited electrical capacity may need a panel upgrade for safe and efficient operation. This is particularly important if you plan to install multiple high-power appliances, such as an electric vehicle charger and heat pump or other large system, which may draw a significant amount of power simultaneously.
Level 3 chargers, also known as DC fast chargers, provide rapid charging but are typically found at public charging stations rather than residential homes due to their high power requirements.
A Level 1 charger uses a standard 120V wall outlet, which is often available in most homes. This option provides a slower charge, typically adding about 6-8 kilometers of range per hour of charging, which makes it a suitable option for overnight charging. While it’s convenient and doesn’t require any major upgrades to your electrical panel, it’s best suited for those who don’t need a fast turnaround on charging times.
Level 2 chargers, on the other hand, use a 240V outlet, which provides a faster charging rate than Level 1 chargers. A Level 2 charger can deliver up to 77 kilometers of range per hour of charging, making it ideal for those with higher daily driving demands. While this charger type is well-suited for homeowners looking for convenience and faster charging times, it may require an electrical panel upgrade. (Luckily, if you need to upgrade to a 200-amp electrical panel, we can also help with that!)

Working with 1Click has been a real pleasure. We had a Tosot multi zone condenser plus 3 heat pump heads installed in our home and the difference is incredible. Our basement and loft were a frosty 9 degrees before and now are set at a comfortable 19 degrees. The main level is 21 without even trying. The condenser is a little bigger than the one we had before but all the units are sleek and quiet. The installation took about 7 hours and the team was pleasant and professional. They did not leave a mess and spent time showing us how the units function. Dylan led us through the process which involved arranging for the installation and applying for the provincial and federal grants. Thank you so much 1Click for making this happen!

1Click came by to install heat pumps in our home. The job took just over 2 days to complete but you never would have known they were there! Anthony and his team were polite and respectful of our home the entire time. Once everything was installed and up and running, he answered all of our questions and never rushed us once! Amazing customer service & knowledgeable team - would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of these services!

We have had a great experience dealing with 1 Click and Brandon. Brandon was very helpful and easy to deal with right from the start. He made this process extremely easy for us and we thank him for that . Total Energy Solutions from Corner Brook, Newfoundland had a great crew that came to our house, on the Port au Port Peninsula, Newfoundland to install our system. They were fast, neat, efficient and seemed to work well together. We would definitely recommend Brandon from 1 Click and their installers Total Energy Solutions to anyone interested in this process. Very happy customers. Thanks again.

Electrification is the process of converting energy-consuming systems from fossil fuels like gas or propane to electric options. The primary goal of electrification is to benefit the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a more resilient power grid. But there are other equally beneficial reasons to switch, including saving money, improved product quality and enhanced quality of life. Watch our video to learn more about electrification.
There are a lot of benefits and advantages to making the switch to electrification, including:
You can make your home more sustainable by electrifying it, replacing fossil fuel systems with high-efficiency electric technologies like heat pumps, electric water heaters, and electric vehicle (EV) chargers. Pairing electrification with renewable energy sources reduces emissions, lowers energy costs over time, and future-proofs your home.
There are a few key reasons why an electric furnace is better for your home than gas.
There are a few reasons why switching to an electric water heater is better than gas. Gas water heaters are typically more expensive than electric ones, use more energy, and don’t last as long. In comparison, electric water heaters are generally cheaper, use less energy, and last longer. Win-win-win! Thought natural gas was the cheapest fuel source? Think again. Watch our video to find out why natural gas is not as cheap as you think.
Here are a few things to consider when shopping for an electric vehicle charger:
The price for installing an EV charger is based on various factors, including your home’s electrical system, the type of charger you choose, and any upgrades which might be necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation. For example, a Level 1 charger typically requires minimal work, while a Level 2 charger may require an electrical panel upgrade.Although installation costs vary, consider the long-term savings from electric mobility and the potential government incentives available in your province, which can help offset some of the costs.
